Reading Task Week 1.

Reading Task Week 1,

For our reading task this week we had to read a book of our
choice I chose My Name is Rez. For this Task we had to
create one difference about them and one thing
about them. We also had to do 3 main points about the story.
This story was about a girl whose name is Rez and has to move away from he country because it is fighting for independence. She does not know how to speak English and she struggles at school because of that. A few pages after that She learns how to speak English and stars to achieve more at School.

We have started Term 4 This is the last Term of school and we have a new PBL question

Term 4 Driving Question.

Our driving question this Term is...

how can I celebrate who I am?

We started researching this question by each picking a country out of a box in the yr 7/8 hub, I got Greece and with the country that we got we have to each make a set of instructions on how to make or do something about that county and a type food that is traditional to the country that we got. We will then use the recipes that we have a make it for a shared lunch for our hub. I think that this driving question is about embracing from where you and who you are.

Main Artefact.

For our main artefact we did a cardboard box underground system with houses to solve overpopulation we had a elevator that is interactive by pulling a piece of string for it to go up and down we also had a road system this was all underground. We chose to do this because we thought that if we had underground cities there would be more space on earth.

Do you have any ideas on how we can solve overpopulation?

For my sub artefact for PBL our group chose to do a website. our website was about our ideas on how we can solve overpopulation and climate change we chose to do a website because people are still able to see it even when we finish the showcase.
