Ethical Issues.

As you may know for our PBL our driving question is what will the future ask of us so we have been studying Ethical issues for the past week. Ethical issues are linked to Morals, They are when you know what is right and what is wrong in a hard decision. We use Ethics and morals in our daily lives When it comes to things like Cheating to win or doing something that you know is wrong.

Do you use your Morals when you have to choose between right and wrong?

Stanford Lagunita.📗📘📙📗

In Term 3 we were doing a Course at Stanford from here in New Zealand. We were doing a course for our Mindsets when it comes to maths. We were learning about how to change our thinking about maths to make it better for us. I think that this course has definitely changed my mindset when I'm doing maths and this also Tells you about the different types and maths and the thinking about maths this course is not for maths and strategies. I think that my favourite course was the one Were you learnt about How it doesn't make you s much of a good mathematician just because you are fast but most of the time the best ones are the ones that think it through and the ones that fully understand the question and answer it properly. Over the last term we have unpacked and answered questions about what it means to be a good leaner and and fast learner we have benefited a lot from this. Here are a quick brief on the Lesson's I did.

Lesson 1 - This Lesson was about Knocking down Myth's about Maths and about Why people don't like Maths and how They couldn't do well in Maths because of that. I think I benefited from this Lesson because I like don't really like Maths so... yeah.

Lesson 2 - In this Lesson It tells you about fixed mindsets and about how you have to have a growth mindset to do well and learn in Maths. I benefited from this Lesson because I normally have a fixed mindset on things and this really helped me to grow my mindset a bit.

Lesson 3 - This Lesson was about how you have to make mistakes to be able to Learn because you learn from your mistakes this was also about how you don't need to be fast at Maths to be a good maths mathematician and the best ones are the ones who think the question through and take there time. I benefited from this Lesson because I thought that when I make mistakes they are bad but now I know that you Benefit from it.

Lesson 4 - This Lesson was about Number Flexibility I don't really remember what this was about but  in this Lesson it included That talking with other people about the question is good. I benefited from this because now I talk over the question with other people so We can actually go deeper into the Question.

Lesson 5 - In this Lesson we learnt about Accomplishment and they interviewed a Person from google and he talked about accomplishing. I benefited from this Lesson because I know what accomplishment is and I know what I have to do to reach a goal that I have set.

Lesson 6 - In this last Lesson it was about finding the Patterns in math and spotting them in other things like Nature I personally think that this was my most favourite lesson because we weren't just looking at math but the outside world to we also looked at spiders. I benefited from this Lesson because I now know that there is not just a little bit of math in Nature but it is practically based on Maths.

Well I guess I'll see you next time Bye 👍

Term 3 Driving Question

Welcome back to my Term 3 blog today I will be sharing my driving question with you... What will the future ask of us. For this driving question we have Covered and had conversations about Things like Robots and what Job they might Take, We have also looked at Sophia the Robot, We are going to a soon look at Ethics. We have covered What are the biggest problems are in the world right now. I think that our driving question is going to be good for us to answer because we are the people that are going to be affected badly but when Robots take over every single job that there is for a human to do then everything will have to be free in Stores because robots don't need to be paid.

What do you think about Robots?

PBL Reflection

On the 3rd of July we had to do our learning showcase for our speak up PBL. I did my PBL with Jack Dungey and I think that we did a great PBL this Term. I think that it was kind of cool that we went live to the whole of New Zealand and the whole of the world. I think that we did good but maybe next time We should go slower ( If there is another one)  Have you ever done something like this?

For our bingo card on week 5 we had to do Problem solving.
Problem Solving is a type of maths we the answers are limitless.
I think that Problem Solving is good because you can use multiple strategies to work out the question and they always have a variety of questions

Have you ever done Problem solving before?
