For our maths task this Week our goal was to Use a variety of
strategies to calculate the area of rectangles, parallelograms and triangles. These strategies are called formulas. The formula for rectangles is Area = length x width ( A = lw ) The parallelogram formula is Area = base x height ( A = bh ) and the triangle formula is 1/2 bh ( 1/2 base x height. ) For this we all created six different questions, 2 parallelograms 2 triangles and 2 rectangles.
